Questions for myself

Q:

1. Why I am I wearing a fake beard and glasses right now?

2. Why are my legs incredibly sore?

3. Why did take me 5 years to edit the Hunter Revenge - "Do U Want 2 Know?" video?

4. Why does the dark purple passion fruit have traces of cyanide in its skin?

5. If diamonds are a girl's best friend, and dogs are man's best friend, is David Bowies' 1974 release, Diamond Dogs, an attempt to appeal to both men and girls?

A (for me, from myself):

1. I must be trying on a costume for something I'm filming next week. That's the only sense I can make of it.

2. It must be delayed onset muscle soreness. I went hiking on Sunday.

3. Three of those years I didn't have the footage, and the other two years were before the three. Did that make sense? It did to me.

4. Mother nature is telling us to die.

5. Yes. David recognized that men and girls need more opportunities to bond over common interests.

Do you remember The Force?

No? Well I certainly do!

Wedge (Matt Wedgley) and I have been talking about The Force a lot lately. Did you know that it's been almost 10 years since we played our last show? Wedge and I also just found a bunch of The Force stuff and we want YOU to have it, so we put a store of sorts on The Force's Official MySpace Page.

Go check it out and learn about The Force.

Blogs, blogs and more blogs!

What is the fascination with blogs?
Somehow I found myself with more blogs than I can hold in one hand (assuming that it takes an average of one finger to hold a blog.) As long as I can figure out what to write in each blog, I'll be just fine. Perhaps I will only ever need to write about my other blogs. Anyhow, the blog in particular that I'm blogging about right now is on the new Macbeth website, which looks fucking amazing, in my humble opinion. Since Tranquil Mammoth is supposed to be my end-all-be-all blog, it would be inconsiderate to leave you without a sample of what's going on in the Macbeth blog (since some of you probably are unable to click over there and see for yourselves.) So, here you go:

Hello 2008!

I always like to be sure that something is definite before I go blabbing around town about it (see vegan blog,) so it gives me great pleasure and relief to be able to confirm the new year, 2008! It is definitely 2008, and oh what a year it has been! How about that rain, eh?

In AFI world, we're writing a new album that will be out when it's done, so don't hold your breath. It won't be out in the next fifteen minutes, and even David Blaine can't hold his breath that long.

So what is everyone up to this year? Make any resolutions that you already broke? This year I resolve to drink some coffee right now.

Until next time, check out this thing I found on youtube.

Stay Fresh™,
Hunter

P.S. If you haven't seen the "Sensual Seduction" video by Snoop Dogg yet, you suck.
