ReplyDeleteSince I made this mug on cafepress.com, THEY make most of the money from the sales. I make $4. Then they charge me to collect my earnings! It's really not about the money...it's about the mug! I totally will donate 100% of the profits from this mug to my coffee fund. I will need to sell an average of two mugs per day to cover my coffee costs. Since I really don't see that happening (I've only sold one mug so far [thanks Benjamin!]) I guess I'm going to have to create other mugs and things.
Does anyone want other mugs and things??

- Yes. I want a mug with a crazy plumbing picture all over it. THAT's stylish.
- Ok, seriously. I'd totally buy something more personal / useful / entertaining stuff from you. Eg. a vegan cook book with a touch of humour and a lot of pics.
- The best way to pay your coffee would be selling/auctioning some cool, unique stuff of yours. Like a timeless, limited edition print of Hunter. It could be a really artistic, black & white shot (16 x 20) of you playing bass on stage/at studio, signed and framed. You could set the price high from the start (because of the limited edition), or you could just auction them. If there were, let's say, only 10-20 copies, people would kill for those! I personally would love to have that kind of a beautiful framed print hanging on my living room wall. Think about it.. :)
Make a t-shirt of your favorite quotes. I'd totally buy that. Hell, I'd help you make them. :D

That mug totally made my day. I was so happy about my purchase... then I read the comment: "I bet a lot of people will buy this, which is awesome for you, but kind of sad for humanity." which caused me to scratch my head for a moment and wonder whether I'm dumb or not. Oh well, I still think the mug is badass.

Bad: I ran out of money (guitar, Crash Love necklace soon to be ordering, more AFI stuff of AFI site. Good: We have mugs to drink from too.
